I am a “multimedia specialist”…or a graphic designer, if you prefer. I create websites, sometimes with HTML/CSS, sometimes Flash, often both. I work for a small/medium-sized company and, to the best of my ability, shall remain anonymous.
I am not the best web designer you have ever seen. I trust I am not the worst. In fact, let us assume that I am, by all accounts, a “mediocre designer.” Let us also assume that you are a mediocre designer as well. Most designers are mediocre but I believe we can improve.
On those occasions that I link a site, it’s because I am illustrating a point (providing an example) – NOT because I think the site on the whole is bad. This is not a blog wherein I rip into designs – believe me, someone else could certainly do the same to my own creations.
Tips are entries wherein I present a problem, then a solution.
Rants are entries wherein I present a problem and hope someone else will present a solution.
Perhaps you will enjoy my tips or rants. I hope to provide an entertaining and useful mixture of both. Let us commiserate, shall we?
